Jeram Toi Waterfalls

Jeram Toi Waterfalls are located in between Seremban and Kuala Kelawang, approximately 40 mins from Seremban. It was discovered by the British in 1895 and since then it has been a popular destination for local families. It's a perfect place to hide from the hot sunny day as the water from the waterfalls is so refreshing.
If you would like for a massage, stand right below the fall and let the water hit our tiredness away. Surrounding the falls are green lush trees with basic necessity available like public toilet, barbeque pits and walking paths.

Another must see attraction in Negeri Seremban is the Port Dickson Beach, its the place for water sports, loved by kids and adults.

It's advisable to pull a night in one of the Port Dickson hotels when visiting Negeri Seremban. The beautiful sun set is worth the trip. Lukut is a small town located just 7 km off Seremban and it's a place to get good local food and some other attractions. Negeri Seremban Craft Complex is an ideal place to get souvenirs as it provides good selection of local handicrafts.
Getting There
Driving from Kuala Lumpur (KL) or Singapore is easy. Just follow the north south highway, exist at Seremban and follow the Seremban-Kuala Kelawang road. The falls are just 40 mins off Seremban.

Otherwise, there are plenty of express buses coming from both KL and Singapore to Seremban.
Meanwhile, buses to Seremban are available from Pudu Sentral (formerly Puduraya) in the city near Petaling Street. At Seremban, buses to Port Dickson are cheap and run frequently. There is an additional bus service from Sungai Pelek in Sepang near Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), but this more of a local's method. Finally, you can take a taxi or cab from Kuala Lumpur or even the airport, which will bring you direct to your destination, but this is obviously the more expensive (but comfortable) option next to renting a car.

Port Dickson Beach

Port Dickson Beach

Port Dickson is located near the Straits of Malacca, hence it was once used for mining and trading too. It has a coastline of up to 18 km. Port Dickson Beach is a public beach and hence it's a popular destination for the local families, especially the city folks, taking the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
However there are also private beaches offered by some of the Port Dickson hotels. There are many activities going about on the beach, including horseback riding, banana boat, and kayaking, parasailing and even paintball.

Another must see attraction is the Malaysian first ostrich farm, Jelita Ostrich Farm. You can experience standing on the egg without breaking the egg.

Other than that, Jeram Toi Waterfalls is also another popular destination among the visitors, it has a few falls surrounded in the green lush trees, where the falling water is so refreshing in the hot sunny day in Malaysia. On your way back, do stop by at the Negeri Sembilan Craft Complex for some handicraft souvenirs, it offers a good variety of unique Malaysian handicraft like batik.
Getting There
Port Dickson is located about 40 km from KLIA and 90 km from Kuala Lumpur. You can drive along the North South Expressway and exist and Seremban and proceed to Port Dickson from there, which is about 50 km from Seremban. Express buses are widely available at most of the main bus terminal in Kuala Lumpur.
Otherwise you can board by rail, KTM furthest stops are Seremban and you can catch a bus or taxi to Port Dickson.

Dayang Island

Dayang Island

Dayang Island (Pulau Dayang in Malay) is famous for its diving site. Most tourists visit this island for scuba diving and snorkeling experiences. While scuba diving, it is easy for one to see the wildlife under the sea such as whale, sharks and rays.
You can perform underwater photography while snorkeling or scuba diving. Diving courses are offered to those who are passionate in learning it or for the beginners before they dive in the crystal clear water of the Dayang Island.
It is located on the west side of Johor Bahru. Dayang Island is actually a part of an island that is made up with itself and four others. They are Pulau Aur, Pulau Lang and finally Pulau Pemanggil.
The ideal diving session is normally from the month of February to November. There are many diving spots around for you to choose, according to your preference and standard and some are shallow reef and some are deep rocky depths.
Dayang Island is fast becoming one of the leading dive destinations of the world with the richest marine environment in the Indo-Pacific Basin. The island is the training ground for thousands of divers from Singapore every year.
Get yourself a room in any Johor hotels or chalets on the island to jumpstart your vacation in Dayang Island. The chalets and resorts on the island are mostly with air conditioned and fine services.
Getting There
Drive yourself to Mersing Jetty which is located in Johor Bahru. It will take approximately 3 hours if you are from Singapore. Then, there will be a boat waiting at the jetty to bring you to the island.

Bukit Keluang

Bukit Keluang

Bukit Keluang has some of the best coastal scenery in Malaysia with lovely beaches, a wooden walkway along the cliff edge, sea caves and a 141 meter high hill with a superb view over the South China Sea.

It is located in Terengganu about 6 km south of the town of Kuala Besut which is where travellers catch boats to the Perhentian Islands.

The main beach which curves around a nice bay lined with casuarinas trees. There were some gazebos here for picnics and some concrete chairs and tables under the trees. There were a couple of food stalls located there together with toilets and other basic amenities.

The base of the hill was right on the water's edge and there were steps leading up to a wooden walkway built on the rocks above the water line. The walkway clings to the hillside and leads to a couple of sea caves inhabited by bats. At low tide it is possible to walk round to the caves but at high tide, which is what it was during my visit, the walkway is the only safe way to access the caves.

There are also proper walkways around to explore the hill. A slow stroll along the walkway as you ascend the hill widens your horizon to the breathtaking view around.
 

Getting There

If you are driving from the north (Kota Bharu) you will pass Kuala Besut and remain on the coast road. The turn off is shortly after Air Tawar (which is another nice beach).

If you coming from the south (Kuala Terengganu), Bukit Keluang is located shortly after Kampung Pengkalan Teras.

Ayer Keroh Crocodile Farm

Ayer Keroh Crocodile Farm

The farm is the largest crocodile farm in Malaysia. Since its opening in 1987, this crocodile farm has expended and transformed to include a section of other reptilian species.  The surrounding environment of the crocodile farm had been shaped to look like the natural habitat of the reptiles.

This sprawling 3.2 hectare park, a leading tourist attraction is now home to more than 200 crocodiles of various species from all over the world including the Siamese, African Dwarf, Indian Marsh/ Mugger, Humpback, Tailless and many more.
The farm features live crocodile shows on weekends or public and school holidays.

The farm opens everyday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm daily. The crocodile farm is now a famous attraction in Malacca and are listed in many official tourism websites.

Getting There
The farm is located in the town of Ayer Keroh besides the Lebuh Ayer Keroh at the entrance of Melaka; 13 kilometres from Malacca Town. It neighbours with the Zoo Melaka, Melaka International Trade Center, Kolej Yayasan Saad, Melaka Manipal Medical College.
The farm entrance gate was built like a mini fort with a flight of steps leading inside.
